Udayy-Raah Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit organization committed to building a brighter, healthier, and more equitable future for underserved communities in India. Our mission is rooted in the belief that education, healthcare, and social equity are fundamental needs, not privileges.

Founded by a group of passionate educators and changemakers, the Foundation aims to bridge the gap in access to quality learning and essential medical care. We envision a society where every individual—regardless of where they are born—has the tools and support to thrive.

Through educational events, community health camps, digital literacy initiatives, and women-focused wellness programs, Udayy-Raah empowers individuals to reclaim their futures and uplift those around them. Every initiative is built on trust, inclusion, and long-term impact.

Dr. Shabbir Ahmed Ansari, PhD

Dr. Atrayee Bhattacharya, PhD

Dr. Ansari is an Instructor at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on hemostasis and thrombosis, exploring the molecular pathways involved in blood clotting and vascular biology. Driven by a deep desire to extend meaningful scientific and medical outreach beyond the lab, he co-founded Udayy-Raah Foundation to bring sustainable healthcare and educational equity to underserved populations in India.

Dr. Bhattacharya is an Instructor at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on cancer epigenetics and therapy resistance in aggressive malignancies. Udayy-Raah Foundation was born from her conviction that science and compassion must work hand in hand. She envisions a future where healthcare and education are not privileges but foundational rights accessible to all communities, regardless of geography or income.

Dr. Manish Mahesh, MD

Dr. Manish Mahesh is an Advisory Board Member at the Udayy-Raah Foundation. He completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences- Bangalore. He is currently involved in research on fatty liver disease, with a strong focus on translational science aimed at advancing patient care and making significant difference in people's lives. Passionate about bridging research and real-world impact, Dr. Mahesh is dedicated to improving health outcomes through scientific innovation.

Enterpreneur and Social Worker

Zamir is a dedicated entrepreneur and co-founder of Udayy-Raah Foundation. His passion for social work is reflected in his unwavering commitment to promoting education among underprivileged children. Beyond his business ventures, he has actively participated in and supported numerous initiatives aimed at bridging the educational gap in marginalized communities. He has played a key role in organizing events that raise awareness about the importance of education and advocate for equal learning opportunities for all.
